AWI Spring Leadership 2019

The annual Architectural Woodworking Institute’s Spring Leadership conference will be held in New Orleans, LA this year! We are looking forward to attending March 31 – April 2 to learn and network. Below is the overall agenda and what to expect this year in New Orleans!

Opening Keynote – Tim David

Listen to Tim David speak on TRUE leadership in his opening keynote speech. Tim will offer proven answers to some of the most difficult challenges faced while leading others.

Feature Presenter – Inky Johnson

Hear Inky’s story and beliefs about collective character and understand that by being the best version of yourself, you have opportunities every day to impact your employees.

Insight Session 1 – Geoffrey Athey and Erik Fetzer

An interactive session meant to give you tools to implement in a manufacturing production environment. Build and learn on how important production efficiency is.

Insight Session 2 – Getting the Most

Join peers in an interactive round table discussion to learn about opportunities in educating your current workforce. Listen to various AWI members describe whats new, what is coming and how to get plugged in with AWI.

Insight Session 3 – Ann Peterson

In this session, participants will learn why safety is important in their facilities, how safety affects the bottom line and how a company can effectively make safety a priority to management and employees.

Team Building Event

Experience a behind the scenes tour of how the famous Mardi Gras floats come to life. A team building activity will explore your creative side and lunch will give a taste of Louisiana.

Closing Keynote – Dominic Rubino

As the host of the industry podcast many of you already listen to “Cabinet Maker Profit System”. Dominic Rubino shares lessons, tips and tricks from thought leaders in our industry.
